Overview

We process personal data when you visit this website or use one of our forms. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and marketing our services) and, where required, your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Hosting and server logs

When you access this website, our hosting provider processes technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser identifier) to deliver the site and keep it secure. This data is stored only briefly.

Contact and CV request forms

When you contact us through a form or request an engineer's profile, we process the data you provide: name, company, email address and your message. The sole purpose is handling and answering your inquiry; the data is not used for marketing.

We do not store form submissions in a database. What you enter reaches us by email only. To deliver that notification and your confirmation email we use the service Resend, Inc. (USA). Your name, email address and the content of your message are transmitted to Resend and processed there for delivery. According to Resend's own terms, this delivery data is stored for 30 days and deleted afterwards. Resend acts as a processor under a data processing agreement that incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

In our own mailbox we keep inquiries for as long as they are needed to handle your request and any follow-up questions, at most 24 months after the last contact.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC (USA). Google Analytics uses cookies and processes, among other things, truncated IP addresses and usage data to provide us with statistics about how the site is used. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google bases such transfers on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our forms against spam and automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). The service loads only on pages with forms and processes technical characteristics of your visit, such as IP address, browser identifier and interaction signals, to determine whether the request comes from a human. Turnstile sets no advertising or tracking cookies and builds no cross-site profile of you.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and functioning of our forms (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare bases such transfers on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

External links and social media

This website links to our profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram. When you open those platforms, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.

Transfers to third countries

Where the service providers named above process data outside the EU or EEA (in particular in the USA), this is done on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Your rights

You have the right to access the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
